Yayyy! to makeup post. Its been a while. I know many of you shy away from rocking a smokey eye look and you almost never look at that black eye shadow in your palette twice. You can create a smoky eye look with that eye shadow without looking like a racoon. Yes, a racoon. Don't worry I got used to abandoning my black shadows too and being light skinned I should be scared but I know better now. I'll be showing you guys how I got this easy breezy look that is totally wearable day and night especially for the festive season approaching.

This beautiful dress was made for me by my seamstress and I fell in love at first sight. I bet you didn't know it was tailor made right? Yup. So did everyone who sighted me wearing it. My aim was to recreate this ASOS dress HERE and I think we did well making a dupe. I knew I had to wear it to a wedding first so I did so last weekend. Its a pretty combo of lace and chiffon plus the lovely colour especially on my skintone is simply amazing. You know you can always put your left over lace materials to good use no matter how small it is. Take a cue from this.

I've heard one too many 'oohs' and 'aahs' about Colour Pop Cosmetics and I knew I had to get my hands on some of their products ASAP. It is an all American brand made in Los Angeles, California. My mum was recently on vacation in the U.S and I used the opportunity to hop on the Colour Pop website, order and pay for some items and had them shipped to where she was residing. Of course I was blown away when I recieved them upon her return, it is everything I had envisioned it to be. The formula is gorgeous, so pigmented and the feel is as soft as butter. Seriously! Almost mousse-like. I ordered three eyeshadows and two highlighters for starters. The best part is that each of the eyeshadows are $5.00 and the highlighters cost $8.00 each. Total was $31.00 ONLY! Pretty amazing right?
