Hey loves! I promised you Part 2 of the events that went down for the launch/opening of Jabi Boat Club. If you missed the first post, you can check that out here and then come back to this one. So October 1st fell on a Sunday and it also happened to be Nigeria's Independence Day. There was no better day to host a rave at the newly launched boat club. The Independence Lake Rave pulled so much weight that I couldn't believe it. Despite the regular tickets going for 5,000 naira, the venue was packed with so many people to the point that I began to wonder if we really had that many people in Abuja all this while!

Hey guys!!! Happy Sunday! Finally Jabi Boat Club opened for operations about two weeks ago and your girl was there to witness all the fun that went down. Day One was the soft launch that saw the formal opening of the boat club with very special invitations needed to attend. It was well organized, loads of food, music, confetti and goodwill speeches from very important guests in attendance. We in Abuja are super happy to have the boat club opened now. A beautiful hangout spot by the lake with white sand, jet skis, a wood house restaurant and bar serving the best American beef brisket, barbeque sauced chicken, the special WoodHouse burger etc. Honestly, what's not to love?
