I'm such a fan of purple/lilac eyeshadows and I decided to show you how I rock such a pretty colour by creating this simple everyday look. The eyes are a mixture of dark purple and lilac from different palettes and the lipstick is one of Milani's Colour Statement Lipsticks. Both have a beautiful frosty finish. Hey guys! So I figured since I have been dishing out dark makeup looks, its about time I did something fun and playful. Doing these makeup pictorials is very tasking, I tell you, but then again its so much fun.
I'm obsessed with this lip stain from the Sleek Studio Collection called DUKE which I purchased a few months ago. There are a bunch of other shades in their lip stain collection but I fell in love with this dark vampy purple shade after seeing it on Chidinma of ThatIgboChick. The colour might be a bit too much for some of you but I'm sure you can make it work either ways. I had so much fun creating this look. It is very quick and simple with subtle eyes being that the lips are the focus point.
Most times when I have an event or outing at night, I go for one particular look. Champagne gold eyes and bright red lips. It always works for me, its really simple and I'm sure it would look good on just about anyone. I also used dramatic lashes to achieve a 'wow' effect. Being that Valentine's Day is a few days away, this would be perfect for date night with that special one.
