I'm such a fan of purple/lilac eyeshadows and I decided to show you how I rock such a pretty colour by creating this simple everyday look. The eyes are a mixture of dark purple and lilac from different palettes and the lipstick is one of Milani's Colour Statement Lipsticks. Both have a beautiful frosty finish.  I enjoyed creating this look. Scroll down for the pictorial and all the products used.







Starting off with my foundation and brow routine done off camera.


Applied an eyeshadow base all over my lids.


Using a flesh-toned matte eyeshadow, I swept that into my crease to serve as a transition shade.


I applied a thicker base to my lids so the eyeshadow colours could pop some more.


Applied the dark purple shade from the Margaret Ekpo palette using a Real techniques shading brush and afterwards blended the top to remove harsh lines.


I've hit pan on almost all the eye shadows in this palette but I still love it. This is the Sleek Original palette and I used the pretty lilac shade on top of the dark purple.



Then went into my outer corners with this very very dark black shade from the Sleek Storm palette. Didn't forget to blend out too for a seamless look.


Taking a random silver eye pencil, I lined my lower lash line.


For more definition, I used a liner brush and some silver eyeshadow on my lower lash line too. I also extended this into my tear duct area.


Used kajal in my waterline.


Created a little winged liner above my upper lash line.


Applied mascara and also applied this pretty natural falsies from Bolwin Cosmetics.


Going back to the face, I added some bronzer for definition under my cheekbones and the corners of my nose for a slimmer look.


Then I applied some blush to the apples of my cheeks.


Never forgetting to add that cute glow, I applied some highlighter above my cheekbones, down the bridge of my nose and cupids bow.

For my lips, I lined them first with a purple lip liner.

And applied my lipstick.


Set my whole face with a finishing powder..

    Alma your eye colour is too gorgeous. I'm pretty light skinned and too scared to use bright eye colors. If u don't mind, what camera do you use? Your pictures are everything!
