Very short and quick post, darlings! Sure you're wondering why I have makeup on only half of my face in the photo above. Well, I just thought to show you how makeup makes all the difference.

I thought about starting a series sharing my thoughts on two beauty products that serve the same purpose, one more expensive than the other and ultimately giving advice on which one to go for. So I present to you my first SAVE or SPLURGE series.

Hey guys! Happy New Year and welcome to 2016. This post is coming soooo late, I know! December was such a crazily busy but beautiful month for me. Jesse and I had our traditional wedding back at my hometown. It was simply beautiful and breathtaking filled with all the love you can possibly imagine. We had so much support from our families and friends and we cannot wait to turn up again in a few months for our church/white wedding. I am still waiting on it too and its such a heart wrenching wait but its so going to be worth it. So, today is rant day on the blog. The same way I have products I love is the same way I have some I can't stand. Some of these products have their advantages and I will not fail to highlight them. Please bear in mind that this is not to bash any brand as I have other products from these brands which I absolutely love. However, these are my honest opinions about these particular products and I strongly believe that what doesn't work for me may still work for some of you. So, have that in mind. Let's get to it.

I'm such a fan of purple/lilac eyeshadows and I decided to show you how I rock such a pretty colour by creating this simple everyday look. The eyes are a mixture of dark purple and lilac from different palettes and the lipstick is one of Milani's Colour Statement Lipsticks. Both have a beautiful frosty finish.  I enjoyed creating this look. Scroll down for the pictorial and all the products used.

Hey guys! I cannot believe that this blog is already ONE YEAR OLD. It seems just like yesterday I made up my mind to take my passion for fashion and beauty to a whole new level and I must say I have not had any regrets even for a day. Despite my daily 8-5 job, I still make out time afterwards to edit posts and use my weekends for photo shoots. It hasn't been easy though.

Hey guys! So I figured since I have been dishing out dark makeup looks, its about time I did something fun and playful. Doing these makeup pictorials is very tasking, I tell you, but then again its so much fun.

I remember saying when the year began that I will be introducing a few series to the blog. Today, we begin another of them. Every quarter, I will be dishing out my top favourite beauty products, fashion items e.t.c as the case may be.

Most times when I have an event or outing at night, I go for one particular look. Champagne gold eyes and bright red lips. It always works for me, its really simple and I'm sure it would look good on just about anyone. I also used dramatic lashes to achieve a 'wow' effect. Being that Valentine's Day is a few days away, this would be perfect for date night with that special one.
