Hey my honeys! Valentine's Day is around the corner and you all know what that means. Time to play DRESS-UP. The good people at SammyDress reached out to me with a gift card and sent me a couple of lovely stuff. The package got to me in a little over three weeks and it was in good condition though I think they could do better in terms of the actual packaging. Their items are very very very affordable (sorry I had to over-emphasize) and their rep was very friendly to me.

I thought about starting a series sharing my thoughts on two beauty products that serve the same purpose, one more expensive than the other and ultimately giving advice on which one to go for. So I present to you my first SAVE or SPLURGE series.

Hey guys! Happy New Year and welcome to 2016. This post is coming soooo late, I know! December was such a crazily busy but beautiful month for me. Jesse and I had our traditional wedding back at my hometown. It was simply beautiful and breathtaking filled with all the love you can possibly imagine. We had so much support from our families and friends and we cannot wait to turn up again in a few months for our church/white wedding. I am still waiting on it too and its such a heart wrenching wait but its so going to be worth it. Yayyy! to makeup post. Its been a while. I know many of you shy away from rocking a smokey eye look and you almost never look at that black eye shadow in your palette twice. You can create a smoky eye look with that eye shadow without looking like a racoon. Yes, a racoon. Don't worry I got used to abandoning my black shadows too and being light skinned I should be scared but I know better now. I'll be showing you guys how I got this easy breezy look that is totally wearable day and night especially for the festive season approaching.

I'm such a fan of purple/lilac eyeshadows and I decided to show you how I rock such a pretty colour by creating this simple everyday look. The eyes are a mixture of dark purple and lilac from different palettes and the lipstick is one of Milani's Colour Statement Lipsticks.
