When you open my closet, you will see a wide range of colourful stuff. I'm not a sucker for dark and dull clothing so you can imagine why this dress appealed to me, While strolling through the Arts and Crafts Market with ChiomaJenni in this post here , I came across this dress and I had to have it.

Just a quick post on this pretty pink dress I wore to a wedding last weekend.
CLOSET is a London-based line of clothing and they make the most pretty and delicious dresses, many of which are currently being sold on Jumia. Its a little bit pricey but I purchased this dress along with a few other stuff using my free shopping voucher. Oh yea!

Ever wondered how you can wear a sequin top in the daytime? Simple. Tone it down with a darker colour, throw on a pair of heels and you're good to go. Over the weekend, I paired this multi colour sequin top with brick brown trousers and strappy heels. Really loved the entire look. By the way, my braids have refused to get old. The older it gets, the prettier it becomes. I'm really feeling the hairstyle this season and I see myself making more of them.

So for the benefit of everyone who asked how I did it, I decided to do a blog post on this look I created a while back. I posted pics on Instagram and BBM. This look was actually for a giveaway competition. I played with these colours as part of the rules of the game. Yellow, purple, ice blue and shades of pink all on one face. Lol. So, I'll just give a step by step description of how I created this look.

The beautiful thing about fashion is that you can combine random pieces in your wardrobe to create a very new looking outfit. So, today I paired this blush pink top I've owned for a long time with a bright colourful skirt and blush sandals. I needed to tone down the look with a plain top as the skirt is quite busy. Came across the 'cowrie-inspired' necklace recently and the cheapskate in me leapt for joy..Too cute. I love a good bargain.

Today's post is one of my favorites till date. This jumpsuit was a gift from my mum and i really really adore the colours. I've tried searching for the exact thing online but didn't get much results. However, if you are in the US, you can check JCPenny where she purchased it. And for those of you in Naija, I have some Jumia links below as they share some similarities with the one I'm wearing. Pairing it with this electric blue blazer made it even brighter and the entire outfit combination has an 80's vibe to it. Its a great outfit for a day out with friends.
