I rarely post African prints on the blog so I'm very happy to do so today. If you recall I attended the opening of the new Woodin store in Abuja here and the team gifted me a unique fabric. I promised to have it up on the blog once I'm able to sew something, so here I am.

Its no surprise I had to join in on the off-shoulder/cold shoulder trend. There's just something soo pretty and feminine about it. This floral set was sent to me by an online website known as Zaful

I loved this set at first sight though I would have loved the top to be a bit longer but I think it works since I wore the trouser in a high waist style. The floral details also make it fun.

From afar, I would admire all their cute pieces and see many of my favourite fashion bloggers rocking them. You must have seen me link many of my posts to their website for similar items to many of the ones I showcase here. I do this mainly for my readers based in the United States. I remember saying when the year began that I will be introducing a few series to the blog. Today, we begin another of them. Every quarter, I will be dishing out my top favourite beauty products, fashion items e.t.c as the case may be.

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for being away from my blog for a while. Been really busy with work so I couldn't really do shoots. But hey, I'm back in the 'blogger mode'. Lol.

Over time, I have fallen in love with the colour 'mint green'. Its a really pretty pastel shade and suits my skin tone so well. Which is why I couldn't resist this beautiful top when i saw it. I literally yanked it off the racks without thinking twice. We all know the great benefits of the peplum trend, the ladies can testify to this. It does well in hiding your mid-section.. My favourite part on this piece should be the black lace, very sultry. You can go for a chic formal look like I did with a pencil skirt or go a bit casual with a pair of jeans. Accessorized with a black clutch and black ankle strap sandals. I adore these sandals by the way.
