Heyyy my fine people! You all need to wear your sunglasses to view this post o! Can you see all the bright colours staring at you? As you know, ankara prints are some of my favourite things to wear. It doesn't matter what style you make with them, those colours and patterns will always stand out. For my international readers, 'ankara' is a popular fabric/material here in Nigeria and in many parts of Africa. We make all kinds of clothing with them and even more recently accessories like the bag and bracelet I am rocking in this post.

Its Friday!!! You know what time it is! Another ankara outfit post from another Nigerian brand. As you know by now, I am the self-appointed 'president' of 'Team Buy Naija'. Lol!!! Hello my darlings and Happy Democracy Day. Aren't we all glad that we get to stay home today? Nigerians just love public holidays sha! We don't mind what the day is called or what is being celebrated that day but as long as we don't have to go to work, we are all for it. Lol. Talking about Nigeria, I have another Naija brand to introduce to you on the blog today and this one totally has my heart because it belongs to a very dear friend of mine.

Hey my lovelies! You know what time it is. Tutorial time! So I have been playing around with ankara fabrics more than ever recently and I decided to start ankara inspired makeup tutorials. As you know these fabrics are often very colourful and to be honest I love the idea of creating wearable looks inspired by them. Oh and guess what? All the products I used in this video are less than 2,000 naira each. Yup yup! You guys know I always deal in affordable products but an entire face with products that cost that low is almost a steal.

One thing I haven't really done is merging two different colours and patterns of ankara into one outfit. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone a bit and see how it turns out. I'm pleasantly surprised that it looks this good. I can't emphasize enough about how fashion should be fun. Play with it!
