Oh, how I would love to buy the crazy expensive primers the makeup world boasts about from top brands like Becca, Smashbox etc. But please, we need to cut our coat according to our cloth abeg! So, I remember getting a request on Instagram to do a review on the Zaron Face Primer. Today is the day but instead of just a review, I decided to add it to my save or splurge series by comparing it to the Nivea Men's After-shave Balm. Yes you read that correctly. if you haven't heard that the latter is used as a primer, where have you been? Anyway, let's compare both products and I'll let you know which one I think is totally worth it.

Very short and quick post, darlings! Sure you're wondering why I have makeup on only half of my face in the photo above. Well, I just thought to show you how makeup makes all the difference.

I remember saying sometime on the blog that one of the easiest things I love to wear are maxi dresses. I recently wore this chiffon one to a park and it was one of the items sent to me by NewChic. This post is very laid back and easy and I tried to make the photos as natural as possible. This look is also very appropriate for the beach just incase you are too shy to wear a swimsuit/bikini. Lol.

We typically do not have the fall season in Nigeria so I'm still having crazy fun with my colours. Apologies to all my international readers though. I really love these photos. The colour of this playsuit and the colour of the plants in the background formed a beautiful colour contrast that I instantly fell in love with. My camera also captured the dark clouds so beautifully, I couldn't stop gushing.

Just a quick post on this pretty pink dress I wore to a wedding last weekend.
CLOSET is a London-based line of clothing and they make the most pretty and delicious dresses, many of which are currently being sold on Jumia. Its a little bit pricey but I purchased this dress along with a few other stuff using my free shopping voucher. Oh yea!

Few months ago, I saw this dress on On-Air Personality, Toke Makinwa and I knew I had to have it. I really had to. So I purchased it from PayPorte a while back. It was the first time I shopped on that site and its safe to say that I was not disappointed. I love this dress, love love love it.

Most times when I have an event or outing at night, I go for one particular look. Champagne gold eyes and bright red lips. It always works for me, its really simple and I'm sure it would look good on just about anyone. I also used dramatic lashes to achieve a 'wow' effect. Being that Valentine's Day is a few days away, this would be perfect for date night with that special one.
