Fashion keeps coming back doesn't it? Its just one big circle that goes round and round over the years. That can only explain why mom jeans can look and feel so good in the year 2017. Mom jeans were pretty popular in the 80's and early 90's though a lot of people felt it was a very unflattering style in later years. I think moms usually wore the jeans to cover their belly pouch after years of having kids. Anyway, fast forward to the new millennium and mom jeans have fast become a popular fashion trend for women of all sizes with or without children.

This, however is my first pair of mom jeans, never owned it, never worn it until now. The Naija brand, Vintage 101 Shop sent this pair to me and I just knew it was something I would fall in love with. The quality is top notch, this is not a soft denim or jegging material but actual denim. I love how loosely fitted it is but yet so stylish. I honestly didn't think it would look this good on me.

Paired this jeans with a red turtle neck striped jumper. Very much needed for this annoying everyday rain we are facing in Abuja right now. Also went with simple gold strappy heels, this pair of jeans needed to speak for itself!
