Hey guys!!! Happy Weekend! I have been on a roll this entire week right?? I know! So much content to put out in such little time. Plus I have been a little ill for the better part of the week but I am super glad I still had the energy to keep putting out content. The things we do to keep this blog afloat sha! Anyway, today's style post is one I have been looking forward to doing. I received an awesome package from an affordable luxury clothing brand, Orchid Woman NG and I did an unboxing of that package on my last vlog. If you missed it, you can catch it quickly here

Hi guys! I hope you all are doing well and you're super excited that the month of January finally ends today. Pheww! Is there a scientific reason why January is always so damn long. I can't seem to understand it, Year in, year out, the same thing happens. It is giving me some sort of funny cause for concern. Lol. Oh well, I'm very much looking forward to February and all the great things we will achieve. Let's stay winning, shall we?

Now I’m not here to bore you with loads of new year, new me resolutions etc. Lol, who is else is sick of people making resolutions they don’t intend to keep? That being said, Happy New Year guys and a big welcome to 2018!! We made it! Celebrating the New Year means so much to me because I can’t help but be thankful that I made it alive, hale and hearty. Many people who started 2017 didn’t get to see the end of it but yet, here we are. To be honest, 2017 wasn’t one of the best years in my life. I didn’t have the best of health, setbacks here and there, milestones that I was hoping for didn’t just happen for me personally. But guess what??? My family as a whole had amazing testimonies and above all the gift of life is enough reason to still give glory to God. So here is to keeping the faith and hoping for better things and new beginnings in 2018. Its going to be a fantastic year!

Hi guys!! Welcome to another Naija brand feature. I paused a bit on my advocacy for Naija brands because of my month long collaboration with Jumia but that is slowly coming to an end so we are back on track as usual. Today's brand focus is on Sixth Clan, a Nigerian based ready to wear fashion brand. Their aim is to bring the stylish and modern woman wardrobe essentials that are fashionable and at the same time affordable. I'm sure you guys know how I feel about that already. If you know, you know!

Hey guys!!! Time for another Naija brand review!! Its so exciting discovering and being reached out to by more and more brands here in Nigeria. To see all reviews I've done so far, click here . Today's brand focus is on Jedi & Co and trust me they deal in a lot of fashion accessories but this post is all about their shoe brooches. When their rep first told me about these brooches, I was asking myself how this was going to work but let's just say once I recieved it, I was super IMPRESSED!

Happy Sunday guys! Today's post is another one relating to a Naija brand or store. You all know I have been running reviews on upcoming and established indigenous brands and its my own little way of creating awareness to buy fashion and beauty items made in Nigeria or foreign items sold in Nigeria. To see more brands I have reviewed, click here
I did a review on The 5k Shop here
where all items are 5,000 naira or less and I thought I was never going
to find something less than that. To my greatest surprise, I came across the 3k Top Store on Instagram and I was impressed. They deal in only tops and blouses that go for 3,000 naira or less! Whaaat! Though their items are foreign products, it makes complete sense buying a top from them for 3,000 naira than purchasing that same top for a higher amount on a foreign site. I reached out to them and they sent me this pretty one shoulder ruffled top. I love the fact that it has gorgeous blue stripes. Very pretty!! I paired it with my ruffle pink skirt from Asos in honour of October which is breast cancer awareness month. Also added my coral pink heels from The Shoe Shop Nigeria.
The 3k Top Store delivers nationwide and has a variety of tops and blouses in different sizes! If you have any 10,000 naira you're not using, you can pick three different tops and even have change! Thank me later.😁
I'm obsessed with this red hair sha!!! Are you??? Let me know what you think of this outfit and the 3k Top Store in the comment section below. You can shop on the 3k Top Store here and tell them Alma sent you!
Do
you have a Nigerian fashion or beauty brand and want to have your items
featured on my blog? I am still running free reviews and
collaborations, so send me a DM on Instagram or mail
almaspice@gmail.com.

Hey guys!!! Hope you all are doing well. Its been quite a bit since I published any style posts and I greatly apologise! Lol! I was down with malaria and even after receiving treatment and recovering, it took me a while to get back in the vibe to blog. I haven't had the best of health this year and I am honestly hoping and praying no more illnesses for me, I'm tired.
Today's post is featuring a print mix ankara dress from an Abuja based Naija brand, House of Asanta.

Hey guys! Honestly I think about 80% of the items in my closet have one form of floral print or the other. I have loads of floral dresses, floral blouses, floral shirts, floral pants, name it! I have a soft spot for them and trust me I'm not stopping anytime soon. There's just something feminine and extremely girly about these gorgeous floral prints.
Today, I am wearing this lovely floral print shift dress from BB Artistry. This awesome brand made my wedding reception dress and my bridesmaid dresses. If you missed my awesome budget friendly wedding planning tips from last year, check here . I'm sure you will catch photos of the bridesmaid dresses as well as my short reception dress. Anyway, I digress! This is a Nigerian brand that really has my heart owned by my friend, Blessing. We met at BBN Wonderland and we have remained good friends ever since. See my BBN Wonderland post here .
If you keep up with my style, you should know that I love comfortable clothing which is why I am a sucker for shift dresses like this. I want to be able to look good but still be able to eat without apologies at a wedding or party without watching my tummy bulge through my outfit. Lol!
This is such a pretty dress. I love the chiffon fabric used to make it and how light and easy the entire outfit is. I really think this can pass for a very stylish maternity dress, just saying! I added a black lace choker from Mocollaress Accessories for a more edgy look and went for red shoes and clutch to compliment the red roses on the dress. P.S I really want a pair of edgy red sandals.😉
Amazing quality as always! Can more Naija brands be like this? What do you think about this outfit? Let me know in the comment section below! More posts and videos coming back to back.

Fashion keeps coming back doesn't it? Its just one big circle that goes round and round over the years. That can only explain why mom jeans can look and feel so good in the year 2017. Mom jeans were pretty popular in the 80's and early 90's though a lot of people felt it was a very unflattering style in later years. I think moms usually wore the jeans to cover their belly pouch after years of having kids. Anyway, fast forward to the new millennium and mom jeans have fast become a popular fashion trend for women of all sizes with or without children.

Heyyy my fine people! You all need to wear your sunglasses to view this post o! Can you see all the bright colours staring at you? As you know, ankara prints are some of my favourite things to wear. It doesn't matter what style you make with them, those colours and patterns will always stand out. For my international readers, 'ankara' is a popular fabric/material here in Nigeria and in many parts of Africa. We make all kinds of clothing with them and even more recently accessories like the bag and bracelet I am rocking in this post.

Its Friday!!! You know what time it is! Another ankara outfit post from another Nigerian brand. As you know by now, I am the self-appointed 'president' of 'Team Buy Naija'. Lol!!! I'm just contributing my little quota to ensure that more and more people like you my readers are a lot more aware of the beauty some of our indigenous brands are creating. It is something I am more than happy to be doing so when I get brands reaching out to me on a weekly basis, I am beyond fulfilled.
