Isn't this the cutest shirt dress that you ever did see? I'm so glad that I get to still wear trendy outfits, the only thing I have to do is probably get them in a size up but then..that isn't even always the case. I picked up this shirt dress during the Jumia Nigeria #SlayHardPaySmall campaign and though it took a while before it got to me because it was shipped from overseas, I totally fell in love at first sight. SO IN LOVE!

It basically looks like a striped shirt turned sideways complete with buttons. My favourite part is the collar literally being off-shoulder on one side. How genius is that? I love the colour, the fabric is good enough and the length is okay for me. On this day, I wore it to church but with flat shoes, this shows that it is also a versatile piece to have in your closet. I can probably wear this with jeans or leggings as well.

Accesorized with my coral court shoes, a brown mii bag and these awesome sunnies, I ended up feeling like a baby girl. Lol! Meanwhile people were asking on Instagram where this location is and let's just say it is my little secret! Lol! Actually it is a random street in Jabi, Abuja but it obviously doesn't look entirely like this. Oh my goodness guys! Long time, no see! Wow, I know!! It seems like ages I posted on the blog and I have really missed it. I have just been so busy with LIFE in general but I promise I won't be going away again at least for a while. Today's style post is a casual one but very unique. I'm glad I now have something to throw on when I have absolutely nothing to wear. You know how you closet is filled with clothes but sometimes you feel like you have nothing to wear, all women can attest to that feeling. Lol!

Now this brand also gave me the opportunity to collaborate with them by coming up with a design for their summer collection. I knew I wanted a playsuit but not something basic. I wanted it to be colourful using multi prints, nothing tooo risque so that all shapes and sizes can wear it and of course I needed it to be stylish and versatile as hell!

Today's style post is a casual one featuring an Ankara bomber jacket from Naija Brand, Dorielz House, You should know by now that I am a sucker for Ankara prints, my closet is literally bursting with so much Ankara colours and goodness right now. So of course I was elated when I recieved this beauty from this brand. Not only is the Ankara print in multi colours but the entire jacket is heavily stoned. Nothing gives me more joy than when those stones sparkle non-stop.

I'll make it easy for you, it is a combination of two styles I absolutely love; polka dots and the evergreen peter pan collar. I also love that I can wear this dress in any way I like; with heels or flats depending on the occasion.
