Hey lovelies! I'm tired of seeing this tag everywhere on the internet. On blogs, YouTube etc and decided to join in. I don't carry the whole world in my bag on a regular basis but here are the things I cannot leave home without. Curious? Read on!

Hello my people! Hope your week is going on great. Did anyone notice anything different with the blog? No I didn't change the interface yet but I finally got my own domain name! After blogging for two years I decided it was time to protect all the hard work I have been putting into my brand. There are plenty monitoring spirits out there and I needed to be jolted back to reality with the thought that someone somewhere can buy off my brand name and probably contact me much later to sell it at a freaking ridiculous price. Yes, it happens. (The same way I had to sprint to the Corporate Affairs Commission to register my business name 'The Wedding Cheapskate' recently in order not to hear stories that touch).

Hey pretty folks! I made it to YouTube!!! Finally!! A whole lot of you have been waiting for this. It took me so long to do another makeup post because I wanted to make sure it was a video this time. I think I did pretty well for a first video and I hope to do more soon. Let me know what you will like to be seeing on my channel and please please please do not forget to subscribe, like and share!

I rarely post African prints on the blog so I'm very happy to do so today. If you recall I attended the opening of the new Woodin store in Abuja here and the team gifted me a unique fabric. I promised to have it up on the blog once I'm able to sew something, so here I am.

I discovered an e-commerce website that sells all kinds of things from clothing to gadgets, phones, beauty products, household items and so on all for ridiculously affordable prices. That website is Bang Good and here is my current wishlist. You can never have too much makeup.

Hi guys! Its been raining everyday for the last couple of days in Abuja. Its getting a bit annoying. I'm guessing its the season of turtle necks and high-collar outfits so this turtle neck sweater dress comes in handy.

Hey loves! Today I'll be taking you through how to make one of my favorite mocktails. Now I have recently added cocktails and mocktails to my growing brand, The Wedding Cheapskate (view our pages here and here and I remember my dad telling me not to give out any of my business secrets. Well one recipe won't hurt, right? Besides, this is pretty easy to make so I'll let it slide. Hehehehe!

I was going through my old blog posts a few days ago and I realized how far I have grown as a blogger. Things have changed, my style has evolved, photos are better and my content has improved. I love it when people tell me they can relate to my blog and my 'girl next door' style of writing. That has always been my aim.

Hey guys! I don't believe it, we hit 100,000 views on the blog last week. Whoop! That's a pretty good feat to achieve in just almost two years. You all have been amazing, I tell you. Making a girl all emotional and wowed. Thanks for making this possible. Let's make this 1 million, shall we?

Very short and quick post, darlings! Sure you're wondering why I have makeup on only half of my face in the photo above. Well, I just thought to show you how makeup makes all the difference.
