So for the benefit of everyone who asked how I did it, I decided to do a blog post on
this look I created a while back. I posted pics on Instagram and BBM. This look was actually for a giveaway
competition. I played with these colours as part of the rules of the
game. Yellow, purple, ice blue and shades of pink all on one face. Lol.
So, I'll just give a step by step description of how I created this
look.

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for being away from my blog for a while. Been really busy with work so I couldn't really do shoots. But hey, I'm back in the 'blogger mode'. Lol.
Over time, I have fallen in love with the colour 'mint green'. Its a really pretty pastel shade and suits my skin tone so well. Which is why I couldn't resist this beautiful top when i saw it. I literally yanked it off the racks without thinking twice. We all know the great benefits of the peplum trend, the ladies can testify to this. It does well in hiding your mid-section.. My favourite part on this piece should be the black lace, very sultry. You can go for a chic formal look like I did with a pencil skirt or go a bit casual with a pair of jeans. Accessorized with a black clutch and black ankle strap sandals. I adore these sandals by the way.

Hi guys, how are you all doing. Today's post is a dressed up casual look I did last weekend. My favorite colour is pink and I always find a way to incorporate into my everyday look which is why my go-to lip colours are mostly pink shades. Anyway, I recently purchased this neon pink top on one of my visits to Mr Price.

The beautiful thing about fashion is that you can combine random pieces in your wardrobe to create a very new looking outfit. So, today I paired this blush pink top I've owned for a long time with a bright colourful skirt and blush sandals. I needed to tone down the look with a plain top as the skirt is quite busy. Came across the 'cowrie-inspired' necklace recently and the cheapskate in me leapt for joy..Too cute. I love a good bargain.

Hi guys. Another makeup post has been long overdue. I really like the combination of bright yellow eyes and purple lips.Very playful. This is the first look I created with the MAC Heroine lipstick. Been wanting to purchase it for a while and I'm glad I did. No regrets.
The eyes were mostly achieved using the yellow shades from the House of Tara Margaret Ekpo eyeshadow palette and the Absolute Eighteen Colour Paparazzi palette. My outer-V was the black shade also from the Absolute palette and transition/lower lash line colour was the brown shade from the Sleek Storm palette. Gold Tear duct colour is also from the Sleek Storm palette.
My advice for today: Don't be afraid to play with colours. Come out of your comfort zone and explore. Remember you can get any of these products on BeautyBoon or BeautyKink . See more photos and products used below:

Prints, prints, prints! The leopard print never goes out of style. I've had this blouse for so long that I don't even remember how i acquired it. For this look, 1 paired it with black crop trousers and a black blazer (hardly wore the blazer throughout the shoot though). No extra accessories except my blue quilt handbag and the faux snakeskin shoes. P.S- I love my tight Brandy/box braids.

Its the mid week again. Yayy! Today's look is something I've had in my head for a while. Pink is one of my favourite colours and this little peplum dress is one of those untouchable items in my wardrobe. I hardly wear it so I decided to do a post on it today. I'm crazy about this cute sleeveless denim jacket I purchased recently. Its such a major fashion staple in my wardrobe and it gives this outfit an edgy look. Completed the look with a hot pair of purple wedges. This should be nice for an evening/night out on the town.

Hey guys! Trust you're all looking forward to the weekend even after a loong holiday. Lol.
Today's
post is one of my favorites till date. This jumpsuit was a gift from my
mum and i really really adore the colours. I've tried searching for the
exact thing online but didn't get much results. However, if you are in
the US, you can check JCPenny where she purchased it. And for those of
you in Naija, I have some Jumia links below as they share some
similarities with the one I'm wearing. Pairing it with this electric
blue blazer made it even brighter and the entire outfit combination has
an 80's vibe to it. Its a great outfit for a day out with friends.

I'm thoroughly excited about today's post. Since i promised to be bringing more makeup posts, my fingers have been itching to just keep inventing different looks and I combine colours i think would really look good. This is an olive green smokey eye and bright orange lips. I love love love this orange lipstick i purchased sometime ago. I did a very thin eyeliner which looks almost invincible. By the way, I'm extremely proud of my photography skills in this post. For everyone in Nigeria, you can find majority of the products i use on BeautyKink or BeautyBoon.

I'm a big fan of the monochrome trend. Its timeless and classic and
its safe to say it has always been on the fashion radar for longer than we can
imagine. You can never go wrong with black and white and this dress is totally
gorgeous. I love the abstract illusion design on the top and how plain
everything else is. This was a look for work and i didn't need to
over-accessorize, I had to let the dress speak for itself. However you might
need to get this dress in a size bigger than your original size as its
really fitted. You wouldn't want to 'pass out' while wearing it. Paired it with
black court shoes. P.S- Going to the gym 3 times a week is really paying off.

Hello my fantastic readers. I can't help but be thankful for all your
incredible support since i started blogging. The encouragement has been
totally amazing and I'm having such a ball doing this.
Today's
outfit post was inspired by this fedora hat that belongs to my dad. I've
been 'eyeing' it since he bought it on one of his many trips. The man
has just refused to release it to me but allows me wear it whenever i
want as long as I return it. Lol.
The plaid shirt is one i adore so
much. It was given to me about 2 years back by a friend and it has such
an amazing quality. I felt really good about this entire outfit and
thought to share.

Hello guys! I decided to bring you another makeup post today as i have been focusing more on outfit posts these days. I'll devote more time to bringing you more colourful makeup ideas you can use for any occasion.
Today's look is dominantly coral eyes and pink lips. Its pretty easy and is something you can do in under 15 minutes. Take a look (this my fringe hair was covering most of my eyes tho). Plus, you know i don't like to bore you all with too many pictures. Lol.

I'm obsessed with this look i created for an event tagged 'Acoustic Night' here in Abuja. Funny thing was many ladies wore glamorous dresses and all. Trust me to stand out of the crowd by inventing my own stylish outfit. Was tired of being girly.. Lol. The only thing missing was a touch of leather, helmet and a power bike. Instead, I paired a denim shirt with black leggings and these killer heels that I've had for quite some time. I seem to get gifts mostly in bags and shoes. This pair is one of them. Makeup was a pink/gold colourful eye and pink lips. See outfit/makeup details below.

Abaya to the rescue!! What i love most about this outfit is how easy it is to throw on but still looks super glamorous. I like effortless pieces and this is definitely one of them. The gold embroidery is gorgeous and compliments the dominant royal blue colour very well, There is a certain way i feel whenever i wear it, almost like a feeling of ROYALTY. Lol. The best part is you can find something similar to it in Hausa clothing stores at any market at all especially in the North. I got mine way back in 2012 in Abuja but its still as good as new. Paired it with very comfy sling back sandals. See details below.

Lipsticks are probably the next on the list of a girl's best friend after diamonds... Oh, make that after diamonds and shoes. Lol. Anyway, makeup can never be complete without a pop of colour on the lips. There are loads of lipstick brands, colours and shades out there but there are three basic hues every lady must have irrespective of brand or price especially when you're just starting your makeup kit.

Its the peak of the rainy season and sometimes you need to keep warm but still look stylish. This tweed sweater has a vintage feel to it. Almost like something Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl would wear. I paired the piece with a black pencil skirt and blush pink 'barely-there' heels. Makeup was a simple gold eye and bright pink lips.

I recently had a nice night out with some friends. It was a birthday club night and i chose to be sexy but not slutty. Lol! This dress was given to me by a good friend for my last birthday and i doubt if it costs much. The neon yellow shoes added more colour and i had my hair up in a bun so i could dance the night away. My outfit for the night wouldn't have been complete without bold red lips.
PS: Forgive my few pictures.

My first makeup post is a soft and subtle one i did for church last sunday. I usually don't like too much makeup when i'm going to church. So i did a soft lip and a bit of a dramatic eye. Remember practice makes perfect... See details of the products used down below.

This
look was put together quickly in time for a movie date one of those
weekends. I paired this bright floral chiffon blouse with a pair of
shorts. Flat peep toes, Aviator shades and a casual tote completed the
look. Details are down below:

Hey y'all. I woke up today and finally decided to start my own style blog, Surprisingly, i am super super excited about it.
Every woman has a certain sense of style. However, not all women have tons of cash to splurge on designer clothes, shoes and makeup. I decided to start this blog mostly for fun but also very importantly to help women who cannot afford the high end stuff. Now you know you can definately look chic, glamorous and trendy without breaking the bank!!! I'm going to be sharing with you my everyday style and makeup looks with details on prices and where you could get the stuff i use. For stuff i get as gifts and i probably may not know the prices, i'll either look for them online or find something similar for you. I'll also try to be putting up posts regularly.
You can also follow me on Instagram by clicking here
Let the fun begin..
